Wineries, Breweries, and Distilleries in Southwest Michigan

Ah, Michigan. The soft-sand, sparsely populated beaches on the coast. The enormous state and national parks that seem almost untouched by modern civilization. It's a place where people can enjoy life at a slower pace. It's a place where you can reconnect with your loved ones, and yourself. When you're here, go ahead, put the phone down, and soak in the beauty around you. Those work emails can wait. Every time I cross the border into Michigan, I feel this overwhelming sense of tranquility and freedom - even though the city is only a couple of hours away.

Southwest Michigan's wineries, breweries, and distilleries craft some of the best in the country. There are plenty of tasting rooms to choose from, and many of them even offer free tastings. If you're looking for inexpensive and interesting things to do inside when you visit, let the educated staff walk you through a variety of different flavors, aromas, and pairings. Groups can hire a driver through Grape and Grain. So get carried away. Let yourself enjoy the full experience without worry.

Booking with Grape and Grain not only allows you to enjoy the freedom of sampling wine, beer and spirits without having to goad one of your friends into being the designated driver, your tasting fees are also included in the purchase price of your tour! Have a seat at the table at some of Michigan's most renowned craftspeople, and enjoy places like Red Barn Winery (try the grape vodka and red wine summer cocktail - DELISH!), Journeyman Distillery, Greenbush Brewery (my personal favorite). and much more.
