Living in the far
northwest suburbs of Chicago you don’t always have the perks of city life. Whenever you need a ride, the luxury of
hailing a taxi is not at your fingertips.
A new ride service is now being introduced to the Lake county area called Lyft.
Lyft is an online business which allows you to
request safe affordable rides by drivers within your community. Request are submitted via their mobile-phone application. Whenever
you need a ride, pull up the application, input your request, and your ride will be on
its way. The company has a current promotion which offers their customer's first ride for free.
Lyft actively promotes via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Through Twitter they have an active support channel called Ask Lyft. This account is active 24/7 and representatives are in constant communication with their customers. Lyft takes pride in their business and does their best to assure satisfaction to all customers.
This is a great app to know about since I live close to Lake County. I would rather be paying people from the area for a ride. I think it's important to have companies like this available to help cut down on DUIs and to keep people safe. Thanks for the information!
