FitBit Fun!

I had my yearly physical a little over a month ago, and let me tell you I wasn't happy with the numbers on the scale. I decided that day that I needed to change my ways, and that's what I've been working on accomplishing. I've been making sure to watch what I eat along with controlling my portion sizes. I've also been making a conscious effort not to snack after dinner.

Being more active has also been something I've been working on. I've been doing my best to make sure I'm a little more active each day. But, I was having a hard time figuring just how well I was doing. I started looking at different apps for my phone, but the problem was I had to have my phone on me at all times. This is a problem since I'm not even suppose to have it on when I'm at work.

What is a girl suppose to do???

That's when I was given the FitBit Charge for Mother's Day! It's perfect for my needs. Not only does it keep track of my steps, but it also gives me access to a food journal which calculates my calories. I'm a visual person, so it helps me to be more accountable for what I eat during the day. I'm also able to track my water intake to make sure I'm getting everything I need. The sleep tracker is another benefit to having it since I have a habit of pushing myself to far. I can honestly I've used everything the FitBit has to offer to help me to make healthier choices.

Friends and support are also offered through the website and the app. I love that you're able to link your FitBit to your Facebook account, so you can friend people for some extra support. I also enjoy how the app sends you badges as you complete tasks throughout the week. Every time I open my email to find a new badge, I know I'm doing something right! I would suggest a FitBit to anyone trying to live a healthier life!

  2. The Fit bit is really interesting to me. Until recently health technologies had not really been expanded upon. I think that the apple watch is another product similar that will contribute to the advancement is health technology

  3. This looks very promising! Do you enter what you eat and drink into an app on your phone or directly into the fitbit?
