Hello ,
We’ve all seen the latest commercial ads on TV and FB about the Apple Watch, and although the technological trend seems to be moving in that direction (from a personal connectivity point of view) soon it will impact the business world as well. Personally, I don’t have the funds to be so trendy, as the Apple Watches starting price is from $349.00 and up to $10,000.00 dollars (depending on your taste in watches and models)! Although the Apple Watch is not the first smart watch to come out, it is a nice trendy time piece form Apple. As technology moves forward you can bet the Apple Watch will too, building on this latest technology trend and its current and future applications, which by the way are pre-loaded.
The Apple Watch holds many features and even more applications in its tiny, yet powerful window, and its easy to navigate. Although many favorable reviews have been written about the Apple Watch, there are also some negative reviews that must be taken into account and consideration before acquiring the trendy piece of technology. However, you and I know that Apple will soon get around to work-out the bugs in the first Gen of Apple Watches and once this is done the possibilities for business users and impact in the business world will be incredible, increasing the stock value for the company and shareholders.
Once Apple gets a better battery life-spend and memory storage, as well as more business applications for this product, business men of all walks of life will soon be able to carry their office
on their wrist and won’t feel tied down to the lap-top or tablet in order to
get a head start on their work day. Information on business applications will soon be available for all types of companies (world-wide) as the technology advances.
As the ever expending world of technology continues to grow and engulf all around it, so must the innovators of trends and technologies such as this, which will continue to supply us with technology we seem to desire so much in order to stay connected at home and work and opening the door for new business opportunities for companies and individuals alike.

Personally, I will
wait for the next Gen, or two, of Apple Watches or the IWatch (as it will be called, according to some experts) to arrive and become, even more tech-savvy, as well as get a lower price for this beautiful, technological, trendy, connectivity, informational all in one time piece.
After all, technology is where it is at now a days. You can find more information on the Apple
Watch as well as the latest reviews at the link below and make up your own mind on the Apple Watch.

Ric,
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely a good example of the latest trend. Like you I am not too crazy about spending $400+ on a watch that will probably change as quickly as the IPhone. The question I have is - will the price drop like the IPhone did as well?
JJ
Hello JJ,
ReplyDeleteThank you for the post and inquiring about the Apple Watch or IWatch as it will soon be called. As it is in all technology when it first comes out, it is expensive because of just how trendy it is. However, history has also shown us that as the demand for the product increases the price will decrees as companies over seas will begin to "mass produce" the Apple Watch making it more accessible for individuals such as ourselves who do not want to spend so much in technology that will soon change.
All of this besides the fact that Apple will continue to work on getting the bugs out of this first Gen of Apple Watches and create more applications on a better applications platform for their product. So let's stay tuned and wait for the price to drop and see what else technology can bring us. Again thank you for your post and inquiry.

Hello Ric,
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you about the first generations of anything from Apple. First generation is always the priciest along with having the most tech troubles. My husband has been hinting about wanting one, but like you I just can't afford or justify the pricing right now.
I'll be the first to admit I love my Apple products, but I'm really not a fan of the Apple Watch. I feel people would look like Inspector Gadget talking into their watches. It'll be interesting to see where this new technology will take us.

Hello Heidi,
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. I can't see myself talking to my wrist and pretending to be cool. I think the Apple Watch is nice and can do a lot, but I want much more than an expensive addition to my cell phone on my wrist, thanks for the comment.
