Sunfriend!
Now-a-days it seems like there is a new wearable tech coming out into the market to help people get fit or to help them be more connected to others. Sunfriend is a new type of wearable tech to help people better their lives in an innovative way. They have released watches that monitor your daily intake of the sun, warning you when you have been exposed to sun UV Rays for too long or when you have not gotten enough Vitamin D for the day. The health benefits to this wearable product can be applied to many businesses in many different ways.
Construction workers, farmers, and other people who work primarily outside are constantly at risk for skin cancer, dementia, blood pressure, and much more. If companies implemented their workers to wear Sunfriend, they would be making a stance to better the lives of their employees. Also, by making their employees wear these as part of their uniform, they could potentially be reducing diseases and promoting healthier lifestyles. By doing this, there would be less medical bills that would fall back on the company.
This new wearable tech is innovative in helping to lead a better lifestyle. Not only could they be applied within companies, but they could also start up to be donated to third world countries that are in need of better medical care. Taking steps to prevent diseases is universally needed and would be a great PR marketing strategy for business to make.

I love this idea! My dad works outdoors and the climate weather hot or cold just beats him up. I always am asking him if he's got sunscreen on or if he's drank enough water and kept hydrated. we love being outdoors and are constantly on motorcycles during the warmer months and of course with that comes the SUN!! this 'watch' would be a great asset to have knowing we are outdoors ALOT!!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea and would love to get one for my wife and self. I tend to forget to use Sunscreen and to be honest I have been told that need to be careful with the Sun, especially here in Texas where it can get up to the 115 at times! Great information.
