The Assignment

Examples of Web 2.0 technology being used for social and business application are all around us. New technologies are appearing all the time.Everyone in this course is responsible for writing 2 blog posts, with each being about 3-4 paragraphs long. Your posts will need to be on the following two topics, respectively (one of each).


  • Introduce the class to a new technology as well as its potential business application  
  • Summarize and reflect upon an innovative technique using an already established Web 2.0 technology (like the Wheat Thins campaign.)

Be sure to read your classmates blog posts and comment as well!

    Hey all, I am looking through everything but can't find the due dates for these? Am I just looking in the wrong place?

    Hi Katie. Look on the page with the syllabus. Under it is the Blog Directions. It states that we have to get the due date from the check list. Click on the "more" dropdown tab, click checklist. That's where you should find the due dates. Hope this helps.

      Hi Patt, thanks I had never seen the more tab before or used a checklist from there. However, there are no actual due dates on anything other than module one do the modules end on Sundays?

      Hi Katie, yes, the modules end on Sundays and the first blog is due by Sunday night.

    Ugggggg.....I'm so confused by this blog posting. I never looked at the checklist, only the content, which had no mention of the blog posting. Now that I have found this place, I cannot see where I am supposed to 'blog'. Any help would be appreciated.

      Go back to the main page and it says "My Blogs" hit "New Post" and start there
